Looked up the lavendar flowered tree as we have those here in the NW, I believe it to be Purple Empress or Royal Empress. Love, MOM
Wow, guys, great job with your blogging and pictures. I've been keeping up even if I haven't been posting comments, and I just looked at ALL the pictures and will get to bed late. I'm so excited for you that you get to have this experience. What a beautiful place! I'm not one to be really emotional, but I almost got choked up at some of the pictures. Enjoy every minute of it.

Just finished wading thru the Swiss "gallery"..... tell Don, I want an explanation of how they build those stone rooves! And, you even found a "Funnyfeet"! It all looks so charming and small enough to actually take it in (unlike big cities). Are you getting my emails? Hope this becomes the menory of a lifetime!!!
